Volunteer Opportunities - Easter 2023

Set up Team
Arrival Time: 6 am
Set up signage (banners, flags, etc) along the road for high visibility as well as help set up the baptistry for the day.

Parking Team
Arrival Time: 8:30 am
Volunteers to direct and help people find parking spaces to park for our experience. Volunteers will assist in setting up flags and signage to guide people into the parking lots.

Greeters
Arrival Time: 8:30 am
Hold signs and greet people from the parking lot to the stadium, making people feel welcome as they join us. They help people navigate to their seats AND the egg hunt after the service.

Ushers
Arrival Time: 8:30 am
Collect offering when it's time & help people find their seats.

Connection Center Team
Arrival Time: 8:30 am
Welcome guests, register & hand out gifts to FTG's, register kids for the egg hunt.

Volunteer Team Check In
Arrival Time: 6 am
Check in volunteers and direct them to the leader for job assignment

Registration
Arrival Time: 8:30 am
Check in people who have registered through EventBrite or register guests. Distribute bracelets to the kids for the Easter Egg Hunt.

Baptism Team
Arrival Time: 9:30 am — Time Commitment: 1hr
Will help people in, baptize, and help people out. Will also help them register at connection center before each service. Will also help setup baptistry. Prep towels, keeping them stocked. Handing them to those being baptized as they come out of the water. Will help people get to bathrooms to change, leading them every step of the way.

Egg Hunt: Set Up
Arrival Time: 6 am — Time Commitment: 1.5hrs
Volunteers will be responsible for setting up the Egg Hunt for the community out on a grass field. Good Walking shoes recommended. Volunteer must be able to bend over and carry boxes of eggs to distribute over the field.

Egg Hunt: Teardown
Arrival Time: 11:45 am — Time Commitment: 1hr
Volunteers will be responsible for cleaning up the Egg Hunt for the community out on a grass field. Good Walking shoes recommended. Volunteer must be able to bend over remove trash or pieces of plastic egg so we leave the field in good condition.

Egg Hunt: Host
Arrival Time: 11 am — Time Commitment: 1hr
Volunteers will be responsible for keeping all participants at the starting line prior to the "Go" by the race officiant. Once the bullhorn sounds the beginning of the hunt, the Egg Hunt Host will signal the kids to begin in their age group quadrant.

Egg Hunt: Officiant
Arrival Time: 11 am — Time Commitment: 1hr
Volunteer (or staff) will welcome guests to the Egg Hunt, share a little about our Kid services and invite the community to join us next Sunday. The Officiant will signal the Egg Hunt Hosts that the Hunt has begun so the Hosts can release the participants in each age group.

Face Painter
Arrival Time: 10:50 am — Time Commitment: 2hrs
Volunteers will have a selection of 3-4 options to paint the child's face to keep the line moving for our guests. All materials will be provided. (This is a great opportunity for our students or artistic minded volunteers)

Time Commitment: 1-2hrs
